To celebrate International Education Week #IEW2017, Tunisia-TESOL and the Embassy ELT Team invite English teachers to a FREE workshop: Assessment for Student Learning: Prospects of Implementation in the ELT Classroom, by Dr. Asma Maaoui followed by a talk about Fighting Procrastination by Irina Cordall.

About the speakers:
Asma Maaoui is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Tunis. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and has been teaching English since 1996. She has served as an active member of Tunisia TESOL since its creation and is currently its president. Her main research interests include language assessment, reading comprehension teaching and assessment, English for Business Purposes, technology-based instruction and assessment, self-regulated learning and test-taker strategies.
Irina Cordall is originally from Russia and has lived in the USA, Vietnam and Tunisia. She has over eight years of teaching experience gained in a variety of environments, including public and private schools, universities, online and by delivering bespoke courses within companies’ premises. During this time, Irina has taught all age groups, from four to 84 and has helped learners of all levels, from beginner to advanced. She has taught General and Business English, EAP, ESP, and exam English.
